Tom Heckert Take 2Last night there were reports that Heckert has become the new GM of the Cleveland Browns. Like I said yesterday in my blog, it might or might not be a good move because of the history of decisions that have been made by the Learners weren't always the best thing (For further memories just think of Butch Davis and even more recently George Kokinis).

Tom HeckertWell it looks like the deal might almost be in the books and it looks like Tom Heckert is going to be the next GM of the Cleveland Browns. I hope that Holmgren is making the right decision because keeping Eric Mangini was a sure-fire way of making many angry especially the part about that Daboll is allowed to stay as well. But from the track record that Heckert has it is probably going to be a good decision. Once done with this, Holmgren should go back to trying to renogiate with Cribbs on a new deal.
